Membership Eligibility Our field of membership includes: Anyone who works, resides or worships in Androscoggin, Cumberland, Lincoln, Kennebec, Knox, Sagadahoc, Somerset or Waldo County. Employees of Bath Iron Works Employees of Five County Credit Union Relatives of existing members Apply Now

Branch Locations

Eligible members may join the credit union by opening a minimum $25 balance Savings Account. After establishing membership, you may open any number of accounts, apply for loans, and use all other services Five County Credit Union offers to MEMBERS ONLY.

It's your Credit Union.

As a credit union member, you own your credit union. You are entitled to elect, and be elected to, the volunteer Board of Directors, which is composed of your fellow members and sets policies for the operation of the credit union based on the needs and wishes of the members. The Board of Directors sets dividend rates, loan interest rates, and fees, among other things, and also determines credit union policy. In addition, your credit union works cooperatively with Maine's other credit unions and the Maine Credit Union League.
