Recently, there have been multiple "Phishing” scams that were initiated via email sent to both the general public and to some credit union members that appeared to be from NCUA. Five County Credit Union wants to help you protect your personal information.

You should NEVER give personal information solicited by email. Five County Credit Union will never send emails, or make phone calls asking for personal information. In the middle of May an email was circulated that appeared to be from the NCUA. The email requests personal information. This email is fraudulent. This is an attempt to gain your trust and acquire personal information to use to steal your identity.

Please remember neither, Five County Credit Union, nor the NCUA will ever send emails, or make phone calls asking for personal information.
