INNOVATION: EXPANDING THE FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS AVAILABLE TO MAINE’S FARMS & FOOD PRODUCERS

The Boards of Directors of Five County Credit Union and Maine Harvest Federal Credit Union have agreed to a merger as an innovative way to expand the financial solutions available to Maine’s farms and related businesses. We see these businesses as an underserved segment and the merger will allow Five County to offer these businesses the unique loan products and financial expertise that MHFCU has already developed but with larger possible loans, a wider range of products and an expanded service offering. We believe the merger will improve Five County’s mission in helping meet the financial needs of Mainers while building a stronger food system in Maine.

On Sunday, December 11, 2022 Maine Harvest FCU merged with Five County Credit Union of Bath. All Maine Harvest FCU members and accounts automatically become members of Five County. To register for Five County CU’s online banking beginning December 12th, click First Time User? Enroll Now. You will be prompted to enter your new member account number and the TIN, email address, and phone number on file.  Any questions, contact a Five County representative at 1-800-750-0959.
